Take this 5 day course to become a professional swimming teacher!<\/p>\n
The Teaching Swimming Award covers all core aspects of teaching swimming \u2013 from beginners to more advanced swimmers. It has been developed in line with international best practice, giving participants the skills they need to teach a wide range of abilities independently.<\/p>\n
This course includes two qualifications \u2013 the Swimming Teacher\u2019s Rescue Award and the Teaching Swimming Award. Throughout this intensive 5 day course, you will learn how to teach swimming to beginners and improvers, as well as analyse strokes and teach water safety and survival skills.<\/p>\n
VSLC is a full member of the International Federation of Swimming Teachers Associations (IFSTA), and our training programme is taught in line with the very latest evidence based practice. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be issued with certification.<\/p>\n
To take part in this course, you should be able to swim at least 25 metres on your front and back, as well as surface dive to a depth of at least 1.8 metres.
