Previously employed by the Swimming Teachers\u2019 Association UK<\/a>, a STA National Tutor and UK Principal Expert for the European Standards Committee on \u2018Buoyant aids for swimming instruction\u2019 for which he is still a corresponding member. From an extensive career in Lifeguard Training, Swimming Teaching and Swimming Pool Management, working for authorities in London and the South East of England, he accepted the post of Development Officer for the Swimming Teachers\u2019 Association in 1995. His career blossomed with the Association, developing qualifications in lifeguarding skills and progressing the programme into the area of First Aid delivery. From 2015-2017 he was honoured with the role of CEO for IFSTA<\/a> and has visited India, Malaysia, Singapore, Korea and China promoting the association.<\/p>\n Now recently invited to join VSLC as the Technical Director after working in Vietnam on 4 occasions from 2011 to 2016, training over 100 school teachers to become swimming teachers and developing and running a programme for tutor training. He has an extensive career in water safety, lifesaving and first response. He has worked as a Seafront Officer, safety boat crew and beach lifeguard in Brighton and Hove – the UK’s busiest beach. As part of these roles, Graham responded to emergency calls for the amubulance and coastguard services. He is a Trainer Assessor of beach lifeguards with SLSGB<\/a>, an STA Lifesaving Tutor and an experienced First Aid at Work tutor. Previously working as Operations Manager at SwimTrek<\/a>, he managed logistics, health and safety and all aspects of daily operations for open water swimming trips and events in over 30 locations worldwide.<\/p>\n
