by | August 6, 2019 | News | 0 comments

In June 2019, VSLC organised a swim camp for in partnership with Nemo Swim Team. 16 participants took part in the 9 day programme, which involved 4 hours daily training – 2 hours in Da Nang’s competition swimming pool, and 2 hours training in the sea.

In the pool, participants were coached under the expert guidance of our Technical Director Garry Seghers, and supported by coach Em Payne, who has recently qualified for the world triathlon championships 2019. The swimmers also had the opportunity to race against Da Nang swim team on several occasions, as well as take part in professional video analysis, which gives the opportunity for detailed feedback on technique.

And of course, congratulations to all of the swim camp participants for your enthusiasm and dedication through the swim camp!

We look forward to building on the success of this inaugural swim camp and expanding it further in 2020.
